Biography

NDAYAMBAJE Fidele is a dedicated and enthusiastic professional who graduated from the University of Rwanda, College of Education, with a degree in Economics and Entrepreneurship with Education. With a strong background in teaching, he is known for his problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and team-building skills. Fidele thrives in cooperative environments and is committed to achieving goals while maintaining high standards.
During his academic journey, he gained valuable experience through both volunteering and leadership roles in various sectors. He served as a youth volunteer in community policing and contributed to Catholic Relief Services (CRS). These roles helped him develop innovative thinking, time management, and communication proficiency, which have become his defining strengths.
Fidele has a wide range of interests, including resource management, environmental conservation, agricultural development, rural economic growth, and social welfare. His passion for rural community service reflects his well-rounded personality and drive to make meaningful contributions.
After graduation, Fidele sought to apply his knowledge and skills in practical ways, leading him to join CorpsAfrica/Rwanda. As a member of Cohort 6, he completed Pre-Service Training and served as a Volunteer, applying approaches such as Asset-Based Community-Led Development (ABCD) and Human-Centered Design (HCD). Working hand-in-hand with his community, he successfully co-designed and implemented a passion fruit farming project that created economic opportunities while fostering community engagement.
In June 2025, Fidele represented CorpsAfrica/Rwanda at the All CorpsAfrica Countries Conference in Kenya, which emphasized the core value of Ubuntu. Building on this experience, he later joined CorpsAfrica/Ethiopia, where he successfully completed a six-week Pre-Service Training (PST) and lived with a host family in Gewa Village for three weeks, immersing himself in Ethiopian culture, traditions, and daily life.
Now, having officially sworn in as a CorpsAfrica/Ethiopia Volunteer, Fidele is ready to dedicate his service to rural communities in Ethiopia, bringing with him a wealth of experience, cross-cultural understanding, and a strong commitment to community development.
