Biography

Eric Ndayishimiye holds a bachelor’s degree in Education with honours in Physics and Chemistry from the University of Rwanda College of Education and a High school diploma in Physics, Biology and Chemistry(PCB) from GS Merdu Verbe Kibeho. He conducted a professional internship in Education provided by the Rwanda Development Board(RDB) at GS Musebeya TSS in Nyaruguru district. He was trained by AEGIS TRUST RWANDA for Peace and Values Education. He was also trained by CorpsAfrica/Rwanda in community-led development and their approaches, Asset-Based Community-Led Development and Human Centred Design (ABCD/HCD).

Eric takes pride in contributing to the development of Rwanda by working hand in hand with people in extreme poverty to graduate from poverty, encouraging financial literacy among youth, contributing to different WASH initiatives, including fighting poor hygiene, malnutrition, and stunting in children, as well as collaborating with local leaders to reintegrate school dropouts back into education. He is also committed to inspiring young people to come together in unity and to avoid the use of drugs. He is delighted about the journey of service with CorpsAfrica/Rwanda, which he will have in Rulindo District, where he will work together with every citizen in his community to overcome poverty, enhance financial literacy, implement rural youth works, and also look forward to building new friendships there.
