Biography
Ndiaye Yaye Adji Maguette holds a Professional Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Master’s level qualification in Business Management. Committed to local development and community project management, she works in social mobilization, community awareness, and the training of local leaders, with a particular focus on the empowerment of women and youth.
During her volunteer service with CorpsAfrica, Ndiaye Yaye Adji served in her home country, Senegal, specifically in the village of Boutoeum in the Ziguinchor region of Lower Casamance. Throughout her service, she focused on group-based local development through the establishment of small, income-generating productive activities, the promotion of children’s education, and the strengthening of local agriculture.
She also contributed to improving local communication between community leaders and residents, fostering stronger civic participation and enhanced social cohesion.
At the end of her service, Ndiaye Yaye Adji Maguette supported her community in implementing a primary project focused on rehabilitating a 1.75-hectare market garden, helping to revive local production activities and strengthen the autonomy of the Boutoeum community.
Currently an Exchange Volunteer in Côte d’Ivoire within the first national cohort, she continues to learn alongside a community rich in local resources while actively contributing to sustainable development. Building on her previous experiences, she places her expertise at the service of civic engagement, community participation, and women’s empowerment. Her consistent commitment inspires trust, hope, solidarity, and change within the communities she serves through CorpsAfrica/Côte d’Ivoire.
