Biography

Donatha Niyonsaba holds a bachelor’s degree in Soil Science from the University of Rwanda, College of Agriculture, Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. She has been recognised for her outstanding performance as the best-performing girl by Imbuto Foundation, which generously sponsored her education.

Professionally, she has experience as a data entry clerk, where she worked at Shagasha Tea Company, using the Blue Eye system in taking workers’ attendance. She completed her professional internship at the Rwanda Association for local government authority (RALGA), as a reward also for her exceptional performance at UR-CAVM. Additionally, she has worked as an enumerator for the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR)
Beyond her professional pursuits, she has a creative side, enjoying handicrafts, decorations, designs, sewing and cooking. She is a team player with strong organisational skills, able to collaborate with others to achieve common goals.

As a CorpsAfrica Volunteer, she is eager to serve her community and share her skills and knowledge to contribute to community development. She is passionate about empowering others to discover their potential and is committed to learning and growing alongside the community she serves.
