Ntombenhle Nonhlakanipho Shoba holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Correctional Studies and a BA Honours in Anthropology from the University of Zululand. After graduation, she worked as a Facilitator for SAFAIDS, where she led two programs: the Rock Leadership Programme, collaborating with traditional leaders and various stakeholders, and the Phakama Ukhulume Programme. She also has 9 months of experience as an Education Assistant with the Department of Education. Growing up in a rural area, Ntombenhle is passionate about developing rural communities. Her upbringing as an outsider had a significant impact on her life and strengthened her belief in the spirit of Ubuntu. Ntombenhle chose to become a CorpsAfrica Volunteer to give back to rural communities and spread the spirit of Ubuntu.
