Mzuzile Nqabeni, a dedicated Social Worker with a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) from the University of Fort Hare, has been actively involved in the Child and Youth Care sector in South Africa since 2016. At 32, Mzuzile blends his professional expertise with a commitment to community development, focusing on disadvantaged communities.
His leadership journey began in high school as President of the Learner Representative Council and continued at university as Relations Officer and Chairperson of the Social Work Students Association. Mzuzile has worked as a Cognitive Behavior Therapist for survivors of sexual abuse and their families.
In 2015, Mzuzile volunteered with the Department of Social Development, contributing to legislative amendments. His expertise includes program design, implementation, and evaluation. Passionate about food security and sustainable development, Mzuzile joined CorpsAfrica to work directly with communities, empowering them to address challenges through human-centered design and asset-based community development.
