Biography

Dinah Makena Nyaga is a community development practitioner with a degree in International Relations and Diplomacy. She is passionate about sustainable development, youth empowerment and childcare; and firmly believes in the power of inclusive, people-centered approaches to drive lasting change. Dinah has volunteered with Helena Hand of Compassion, where she supported advocacy, communication, and public engagement programs, and interned with the County Government of Kiambu, gaining valuable experience in public service, administration, and governance.

She is currently a Volunteer with CorpsAfrica/Kenya, after undergoing an intensive training in Human-Centered Design, Community-Led Development, and Asset-Based Community Development. Through this experience, Dinah seeks to strengthen her capacity to co-create sustainable solutions with communities while preparing for her long-term goal of serving as a diplomat, advancing international cooperation and empowering societies.
