Biography
Fatou Nyang is a devoted CorpsAfrica volunteer and a recent graduate at the University of The Gambia, School of Business and Public Administration, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Finance. Throughout her academic journey, she demonstrated dedication, discipline, and a strong passion for excellence in all her pursuits.
During her time at the university, Fatou actively engaged in student leadership and politics to strengthen her public speaking and leadership skills. She served as a Committee Member in the 20th Executive Council of ECOMANSA under the Technical and Logistics Ministry at the School of Business and Public Administration. She later rose to the position of Secretary General in the 21st Executive Council of ECOMANSA under the Sports Ministry. Her commitment, reliability, and love for sports highlighted her strong leadership qualities and willingness to serve her institution whenever needed.
Fatou is open-minded and values continuous personal growth. She believes in listening, learning, unlearning, and relearning despite differing opinions, which reflects her maturity and adaptability.
As a CorpsAfrica Volunteer, Fatou is deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve. She is passionate about community development and social impact and is committed to making a meaningful difference in The Gambia and across Africa. Beyond her volunteer work, she enjoys exploring local cultures, discovering new foods, and remains an avid learner with a strong curiosity for growth and impact.
