Biography
Emmanuel Ombeni holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Rwanda, Huye Campus. During his studies, he actively engaged in volunteerism and student leadership, serving as Vice-President of the Red Cross at Huye Campus. In this role, he contributed to impactful initiatives such as the One Egg per Child program and the construction of kitchen gardens to combat malnutrition in local communities.
After completing his degree, he joined CorpsAfrica/Rwanda as a Volunteer, where he is further strengthening his leadership, intercultural, and community engagement skills. Beyond academics and professional service, Emmanuel has been active in extracurricular activities, including Karate—where he earned a belt—and a traditional singing troupe, where he performed at cultural events.
These diverse experiences have shaped his resilience, teamwork, and commitment to empowering communities through mindset change, poverty reduction, and sustainable development.
