Biography

Patrick Owino is an agribusiness practitioner and community development advocate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agribusiness Management from Egerton University. He is passionate about sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, youth empowerment, and improving community livelihoods.He is a founder of The Green Embassy Kenya, where he has been involved in tree planting, environmental conservation, and community service. Through Crime Si Poa, he gained experience in youth mentorship and community paralegal work.He has also supported young farmers through Kisumu Young Agripreneurs, helping them develop agribusiness skills and see agriculture as a pathway to economic empowerment.

Currently, Patrick serves as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer in Kenya, working with communities to identify and use their own skills, knowledge, and resources to improve their livelihoods.Patrick believes that communities can create lasting change when they work together, take ownership of their development, and build solutions using their own strengths and resources.
