Biography

Thibaut SAGNA is a community development expert with a solid academic background, holding a Master’s degree in Development Sociology from Gaston Berger University in Saint-Louis. Currently a Project Coordinator at CorpsAfrica/Senegal, he provides essential technical and methodological support to volunteers in the field, while ensuring strategic coordination between communities, local authorities, and technical partners. His role includes strengthening monitoring and evaluation systems and capitalizing on lessons learned, requiring a deep understanding of local dynamics and an unwavering commitment to the participatory approach. Previously, at Partners West Africa – Senegal, he led the design of M&E tools and coordinated field activities, thereby consolidating his expertise in project cycle management. His journey with CorpsAfrica/Senegal began as a Cohort 5 Volunteer, a transformative experience during which he refined his community facilitation techniques. By mobilizing participatory diagnostic tools, he enabled communities—particularly women and youth—to express their priorities, leading to the co-creation of tailored projects.
