Biography

Zubaida Salifu is an education graduate and youth advocate with a strong interest in community development, education, gender, and the empowerment of young people, particularly girls in underserved communities. She holds a Bachelor of Education in Basic Education from the University for Development Studies.

For about six years, Zubaida has volunteered with the Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG), where she has worked as a youth advocate and Reproductive Health Education facilitator. Through this experience, she has engaged and educated over 300 young people while developing skills in community mobilisation, facilitation, public speaking, peer education, and youth advocacy.

Her passion for community service comes from her belief that lasting change happens when communities are actively involved in identifying their needs and creating solutions. This belief inspired her to join CorpsAfrica, where she hopes to learn from her community, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to community-led development.

Outside her professional and volunteer interests, Zubaida enjoys connecting with people, learning new things, and capturing moments through photography. She is committed to serving with empathy, humility, and purpose and hopes to inspire other young people to contribute to positive change in their communities.
