Biography

ModouLamin Sanneh is a CorpsAfrica Gambia Volunteer with a strong focus on climate resilience and community led development. He holds an Advanced Diploma Certificate in Education from The Gambia College, Specialized in Science and Social and Environmental Studies along with certificates in International Volunteering and Office Management. His academic training has provided a solid foundation in facilitation, coordination, and effective community engagement.

Before joining CorpsAfrica, ModouLamin served for two years as a Field Supervisor with C Quest Capital LLC in The Gambia, where he supported the implementation of climate resilience initiatives targeting women, youth, and children in some of the most vulnerable communities across the country. His work involved coordinating field activities, mobilizing community participation, and collaborating with local stakeholders to promote environmental sustainability, improved livelihoods, and increased adaptive capacity at the community level.

In addition to his professional experience, ModouLamin has volunteered with several youth led and civil society organizations, including Eco Friends The Gambia, Activista The Gambia, and Global Platform The Gambia. Through these engagements, he contributed to climate change awareness, youth empowerment, social justice advocacy, and community resilience building initiatives.

As a newly sworn in CorpsAfrica Volunteer, ModouLamin is committed to working closely with rural communities to identify local priorities, strengthen community capacity, and support sustainable and climate resilient development projects. Guided by integrity, resilience, and a strong sense of service, he is dedicated to making a meaningful and lasting impact through community driven solutions.
