Biography
Abdul Soabir Shaani is a Ghanaian with a background in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology from the University for Development Studies. He has a strong passion for community development, Gender, climate resilience, and inclusive governance. During his service with CorpsAfrica in Ghana, he implemented projects that expanded access to water and supported women with alternative livelihoods to reduce the effects of climate change on agriculture.
He is currently serving as an Exchange Volunteer with CorpsAfrica/Malawi, where he is eager to immerse himself in a new culture, share best practices from his work in Ghana, and learn innovative approaches to participatory development. Outside of his volunteer work, Abdul enjoys reading, writing, and creating content, as well as engaging in conversations around sustainability and youth leadership.
He is excited to be part of this exchange cohort because it provides an opportunity to grow his skills, broaden his perspectives, and collaborate with fellow volunteers across Africa to create lasting social impact.
