Biography
Mariama Sillah is a committed and passionate CorpsAfrica Volunteer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture. Her academic background reflects her deep interest in improving food systems, rural livelihoods, and community development through sustainable agricultural practices.Born and raised with strong values of empathy, resilience, and service, Mariama has always believed in creating positive change from the grassroots,her dedication to volunteering and helping others has shaped her path as a youth leader and changemaker. She brings to her work a blend of academic knowledge, cultural understanding, and a deep sense of responsibility toward those she serves. As a CorpsAfrica Volunteer, Mariama is currently serving in a rural community where she works hand in hand with local leaders, youth, and women to identify community challenges and co-create sustainable solutions. She is particularly passionate about youth empowerment, women’s inclusion, and community-led development projects that promote growth and resilience. Beyond her professional role Mariama is a proud mother, a responsibility that strengthens her resolve to lead, serve, and inspire. She balances her service work with love and commitment to her family, especially her child, who motivates her every step of the way.
In her free time, Mariama enjoys reading motivational books, writing personal reflections, and spending quiet time in nature which helps her stay grounded and inspired.
