Ms. Mercy Cherutoh Soy is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Good Governance and Democracy from the University of Nairobi. She is a Charity Law, Corporate Law, Good Governance, and Compliance practitioner with an extensive legal skill set of over six years. MS. Soy has worked closely with Non-Governmental Organisations, International Development Organisations, and State Agencies in Kenya in her current role as legal counsel at the Ministry of Interior and National Administration (MOINA). This comprehensive involvement has accorded her a platform to engage tremendously with organizations that promote human rights, good governance, and sustainable development. She is a member of the committee on Vision 2030 for the Governance, Justice, And Rule Of Law Sector at MOINA.Ms. Soy volunteers at CorpsAfrica/Kenya and Access Justice Kenya which are not-for-profit organizations in Kenya that advocate for social inclusion, volunteerism, sustainable development, and access to human rights for communities in Kenya.
