Biography
Nasihatu is a Ghanaian graduate of the University for Development Studies, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology. Before joining CorpsAfrica, Nasiha spent time supporting her mother at the market while also running a small business. These experiences strengthened her sense of responsibility, resilience, and independence.
Growing up, she had a beautiful childhood, but as circumstances changed, she had to step out of her comfort zone and take on new challenges to help make things better. With the support and encouragement of her elder sister, she also learned to adapt, become more independent, and face unfamiliar situations with courage. These experiences shaped her desire to keep growing and become the best version of herself.
Nasihatu heard about CorpsAfrica through her sister and was inspired to join because of the opportunity to learn, grow, and challenge herself. Through the experience, she hopes to improve her public speaking and confidence, develop stronger leadership skills, and discover new strengths.
During her service in Adedomi, Nasiha hopes to contribute to creating meaningful opportunities for young people, particularly by facilitating pathways toward job creation and sustainable livelihoods. Beyond the work, she looks forward to meeting new people, learning from the community, embracing new experiences, and growing through the journey.
For Nasiha, CorpsAfrica is an opportunity not only to serve, but also to learn from others, step beyond familiar boundaries, and continue becoming the best version of herself.
