Biography

Ndawa Thioune is a professional committed to community development, currently serving as Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer at CorpsAfrica/Senegal. Since 2020, she has trained and mentored volunteers, overseen data collection and analysis, and produced strategic reports to facilitate decision-making. Holding a degree in Oral African Literature from Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, she has strengthened her M&E expertise through specialized training, including a recent certification from Bioforce in 2025.

A former CorpsAfrica Volunteer in the Saint-Louis region, Ndawa led a fish farming project that empowered 200 women and trained 25 young people in entrepreneurship with ADEPME. Following her service, she co-founded NAFAAS, a start-up that promotes local products to boost community economies. Her career combines academic excellence, field experience, and leadership, making her a key player in sustainable development in Senegal.
