Biography

Justine Umukundwa holds a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Agriculture with a specialization in Animal Production from the Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture (RICA). During her academic journey, she gained extensive knowledge in livestock management, agricultural innovation, and sustainable farming practices. Her focus areas included animal welfare, One Health, agribusiness development, mechanization, and food processing.

She is passionate about agricultural extension services, particularly working in rural areas and supporting communities to adopt sustainable practices. Justine has experience engaging with farmers to improve nutrition and health, while empowering community-driven solutions. Her dedication to serving rural communities reflects her strong belief in empowering farmers and promoting inclusive development.

She aspires to contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals by advancing animal welfare, strengthening food security, and creating opportunities for youth and women in agriculture. Justine is eager to continue her journey of service, learning from new communities, and making a meaningful impact through collaboration and innovation.
