Biography

Nadia Uwimana holds a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture and is deeply passionate about community development, particularly through leveraging her agricultural knowledge to improve livelihoods. Nadia has previously worked for short periods on projects that focus on strengthening household resilience and promoting sustainable livelihoods.

She is motivated to serve in rural communities and contribute meaningfully to their development. Her dedication to empowering women and youth is inspiring, encouraging others to take initiative within their own communities. Nadia is also enthusiastic about promoting local culture and fostering participation in community-driven activities.

She is proud to contribute to the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly through supporting food security, promoting sustainable agriculture, and enhancing community well-being. Nadia is very excited to embark on this journey of service in Huye District , where she looks forward to engaging with underprivileged communities, discovering new cultures, and building strong connections with local residents.
