Biography

Belaynesh Bekele Youra was born and raised in Hawassa, Ethiopia. She holds a BSc in Environmental Science from Wolaita Sodo University (regular program) and a BA in Accounting and Finance from Hawassa University (extension program). Her professional journey began as a Hygiene and Sanitation Assistant at Mensur Sultan Food Complex in Hawassa (2018–2020), followed by a role as a Data Collector with the Central Statistics Agency, working in rural areas of the Sidama region.

With a compassionate heart and a strong desire to help others, Belaynesh found purpose through service. She joined CorpsAfrica/Ethiopia, serving communities in the Oromia Region, Jimma Zone, including both urban and rural areas such as Sommodo, for two years. Her dedication led to an exchange opportunity with CorpsAfrica/Ghana, where she continues her service in Ghana’s Northern Region.

Throughout her journey, she has developed strong communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and resilience skills, thriving under pressure and in diverse environments.
