I Can Because We Can

In CorpsAfrica’s effort to ensure empowerment in people, both the African youths and the under-sourced communities in Africa have majorly benefitted; the youths through gaining tremendous knowledge, exposure, and getting a chance to impact African societies. The communities on the other hand have witnessed an improvement in their living through the understanding that whatever assets they have can be used to better their lives and also the actualization of small-scale yet high-impact projects to put a smile on the community members’ faces.

Following CorpsAfrica’s model of CLD, our communities have joined hands and brought our minds and resources together to facilitate change and growth in our communities. The ability of a whole community of about 5 villages to come together with several common ideas and enact one is a huge milestone for any society.

The ideology of I CAN BECAUSE WE CAN is vivid when a community project is practical and is working. The success of a project or any activity calls for unity, willingness, and sacrifice.

A Volunteer can only be a catalyst for change when the community is willing and speaks with one voice.

And it is with this spirit of community involvement and unity that a Volunteer’s impact is visible.

In unison, anything can be achieved!

Support Our Work

CorpsAfrica addresses two of Africa’s most difficult challenges: engaging youth and helping rural communities overcome extreme poverty. We recruit and train motivated volunteers to live and work in rural, under-resourced areas in their own countries. They collaborate with the community to design and implement small-scale projects that address their top priorities and, by doing so, gain the skills and experience that lay the foundation for personal and professional success.

CorpsAfrica trusts youth and communities to help each other.
