Celebrate Volunteerism with CorpsAfrica Alumni

About the event

We believe the CorpsAfrica Volunteers do invaluable work– they engage communities, build networks, and serve as critical liaisons between communities and key development partners.  We want to recognize and celebrate their tireless efforts on International Volunteer Day.

Join us for an exciting event highlighting CorpsAfrica alumni’s transformative service experience. It is a great time to connect and hear about the impact of service on African youth and their host communities.

What’s in Store?

  • A short (4-minute) video of alumni talking about their Volunteer experience and how it’s influenced their professional and personal development.
  • A moderated panel by Astou Ndiaye, CorpsAfrica/Senegal’s Director, where guests will hear from and meet alumni who served in Morocco, Senegal, Malawi and Rwanda.
  • Guests will have an opportunity to ask questions directly to the alumni

Support Our Work

CorpsAfrica addresses two of Africa’s most difficult challenges: engaging youth and helping rural communities overcome extreme poverty. We recruit and train motivated volunteers to live and work in rural, under-resourced areas in their own countries. They collaborate with the community to design and implement small-scale projects that address their top priorities and, by doing so, gain the skills and experience that lay the foundation for personal and professional success.

CorpsAfrica trusts youth and communities to help each other.
