The proposed intervention aims to expand the existing mechanized borehole water system by installing additional poly tanks, pumps, and pipeline extensions to connect water directly to households across the community. The impact of this project is expected to be far-reaching. At least 80-90% of households will gain access to safe drinking water within 12 months, time spent fetching water will be reduced by 50%, and community revenue will increase by 30% through a managed user-fee system. Additionally, the project will create at least 3 part-time employment opportunities for youth and improve health and hygiene outcomes.
