The Bakgatla Cleaning Project aims to establish a community-led manufacturing hub for producing, packaging and distributing essential cleaning products. The project responds to high youth unemployment and limited vocational opportunities in Makapanstad. The project will benefit local youth and residents through technical and safety training. Its expected impact includes certified skills development, job creation, local production of cleaning detergents, economic independence, and stronger community-based enterprise development.
