In my extraordinary experience in this community, I had the privilege of being part of in the Kalalu community. What sets this community apart is the remarkable unity and collective spirit that permeates its very essence. What is even more inspiring is that the driving force behind community initiatives is the elderly members of the community.

In this community, age is not a barrier but a wellspring of wisdom and experience that enriches every endeavor. It’s a reminder that our elders have so much to offer, not only in their stories and traditions but in their active participation in shaping a better future for all.

CorpsAfrica addresses two of Africa’s most difficult challenges: engaging youth and helping rural communities overcome extreme poverty. We recruit and train motivated volunteers to live and work in rural, under-resourced areas in their own countries. They collaborate with the community to design and implement small-scale projects that address their top priorities and, by doing so, gain the skills and experience that lay the foundation for personal and professional success.

CorpsAfrica trusts youth and communities to help each other.
