The CorpsAfrica Story

CorpsAfrica was founded in 2011 by former Peace Corps Volunteer Liz Fanning, inspired by young Moroccans eager to contribute to their communities. With the vision of empowering young Africans as catalysts for lasting growth, CorpsAfrica provides a transformative experience.

Our mission is to shift Africa’s development from external aid reliance to empowering its people. We train and deploy educated young Africans to live in remote villages for up to a year, facilitating impactful, community-identified projects. Since our first program in Morocco in 2013, we’ve expanded to 10 countries and aim to reach all 54 African nations in the next decade.

Join us in celebrating and supporting the young African leaders transforming their communities and shaping a brighter future for Africa. #ThisIsCorpsAfrica
