The Buyo Kechema community has successfully renovated its kindergarten classroom, ensuring a cleaner, safer, and more engaging learning environment for young children. Previously, the space lacked the safety and structure needed for effective learning.
With a total budget of 195,000 ETB and a 25% community contribution, the project was completed in just two months through three phases: material procurement, three weeks of renovations, and a community showcase to gather feedback. The initiative directly benefits 52 households and indirectly supports 887 individuals, creating lasting improvements for both the school and the wider community.
This project was facilitated by Meron Solomon, in partnership with the Buyo Kechema community, local authorities, and CorpsAfrica/Ethiopia.
