CorpsAfrica Launches Entrepreneurship Incubator

EI Launch (3)

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Alumni Entrepreneurship Incubator, a fully-funded program designed to support CorpsAfrica alumni in their entrepreneurial ventures. The incubator will provide high-level business training and seed funding to help alumni turn their ideas into successful, job-creating businesses across Africa.

Applications for the inaugural cohort opened on December 15, 2022, and after a rigorous selection process, eight alumni-led ventures have been chosen to participate. Representing Morocco, Malawi, Senegal, and Rwanda, these ventures cover diverse sectors such as agriculture, tourism, digital marketing, and social enterprises.

Starting in February 2023, the selected alumni will undergo a three-month intensive training program developed in partnership with ES Maroc, a Moroccan organization promoting social innovation and youth development. The training will cover various aspects of entrepreneurship, including business modeling, financial planning, marketing strategies, and team management.

Through this incubator, CorpsAfrica aims to leverage the entrepreneurial mindset and community-driven spirit of its alumni to create sustainable employment opportunities and drive positive social impact across the continent.

Support Our Work

CorpsAfrica addresses two of Africa’s most difficult challenges: engaging youth and helping rural communities overcome extreme poverty. We recruit and train motivated volunteers to live and work in rural, under-resourced areas in their own countries. They collaborate with the community to design and implement small-scale projects that address their top priorities and, by doing so, gain the skills and experience that lay the foundation for personal and professional success.

CorpsAfrica trusts youth and communities to help each other.
