CorpsAfrica/Maroc and We Speak Citizen Workshop

Maroc- We Speak Citizen (1)

CorpsAfrica/Maroc hosted a workshop with Mrs. Loubna Guenoun and her WeSpeakCitizen team, focusing on articulating project vision and impact. We prioritize Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) and Human-Centered Design (HCD) at CorpsAfrica. Training our Volunteers using these approaches has proven beneficial for crafting comprehensive project proposals.

During the workshop, Volunteers learn ABCD and HCD principles, acquiring skills to identify and utilize existing strengths within communities. This not only improves proposal effectiveness but also aligns with our commitment to community-driven development.

Volunteers also dedicate time to understanding donors’ perspectives and aligning proposals with external stakeholders’ expectations. The training includes public speaking skills, enabling volunteers to confidently convey project ideas and envisioned impact to diverse audiences. This holistic approach equips our volunteers with the tools and knowledge to contribute meaningfully to community development, promoting inclusivity and sustainability.

Support Our Work

CorpsAfrica addresses two of Africa’s most difficult challenges: engaging youth and helping rural communities overcome extreme poverty. We recruit and train motivated volunteers to live and work in rural, under-resourced areas in their own countries. They collaborate with the community to design and implement small-scale projects that address their top priorities and, by doing so, gain the skills and experience that lay the foundation for personal and professional success.

CorpsAfrica trusts youth and communities to help each other.
