The Community Tourism Hub project seeks to transform Tinmel’s strong tourism potential into a source of local employment and economic growth. Tinmel receives approximately 15,000 tourists annually and is known for its historical heritage, mountain landscape, rivers, and natural beauty. However, limited infrastructure has prevented the community from fully benefiting from this tourist traffic. The project will expand an existing guesthouse into a four-room facility, renovate the kitchen, establish a youth-led hospitality hub, create a women’s cooperative marketplace, and build partnerships with travel agencies. The expected impact includes tripling revenue, creating eight full-time jobs, and empowering more than 70 women through stronger links to the local tourism economy.
