A lack of financial resources in the Saldé Community has created a cycle of dependency, leaving women, the elderly, people with disabilities, youth, and large families especially vulnerable. After community consultations, residents chose to launch an aquaculture project to create jobs, boost household incomes, and strengthen food security.
