CorpsAfrica Releases 2025 Annual Impact Report: African Youth Leading Community-Driven Development

CorpsAfrica is pleased to share its 2025 Annual Impact Report, highlighting the achievements, stories, and partnerships that shaped Fiscal Year 2025. The report reflects the work of young African leaders, CorpsAfrica Volunteers, and community members working together to turn local priorities into community-led solutions.

During FY2025, 460 CorpsAfrica Volunteers implemented 360 community-led projects across our programs. These efforts included 9,469 development activities, 11,278 new jobs, and 216,869 direct beneficiaries, reflecting the reach of locally led development and the contributions of Volunteers and their communities.

Behind these numbers are stories of initiative, collaboration, and local leadership. The report highlights Volunteers and community members developing solutions that reflect their priorities, as well as Pitch Day events that bring forward local ideas and partnerships that connect communities with additional resources and expertise.

CorpsAfrica’s work is grounded in the belief that communities should lead their own development. By investing in young African leaders and creating opportunities for community members to identify priorities and shape solutions, our model brings people together to build on local knowledge, skills, and resources.

The 2025 Annual Impact Report also recognizes the people and partnerships that make this work possible. To our Volunteers, Alumni, staff, Development Partners, supporters, and community partners, thank you for being part of the CorpsAfrica community and contributing to this work.

Support Our Work

CorpsAfrica addresses two of Africa’s most difficult challenges: engaging youth and helping rural communities overcome extreme poverty. We recruit and train motivated volunteers to live and work in rural, under-resourced areas in their own countries. They collaborate with the community to design and implement small-scale projects that address their top priorities and, by doing so, gain the skills and experience that lay the foundation for personal and professional success.

CorpsAfrica trusts youth and communities to help each other.
