The community of Demba Wandu in Sandu District, Upper River Region, with 420 residents across 29 households, is seeking support to rehabilitate a broken hand pump into a functional borehole. This project aims to restore the water point by repairing the pump, securing a reliable water supply, and improving hygiene and health outcomes. The upgraded system will be community-managed to ensure long-term sustainability. With clean water access restored, the village will experience improved health, education, and economic productivity.
