Pitch Day
Each year, CorpsAfrica Volunteers and their community partners bring bold, practical ideas to life through Pitch Day, a unique opportunity to showcase grassroots projects and rally support from donors and leaders passionate about creating lasting change.
Corps Africa Pitch Day:
Supporting Community-Led Solutions
Pitch Day is an annual event designed to unite business leaders, donors, development partners, CorpsAfrica alumni, and community supporters to locally fund small-scale, high-impact projects led by Corps Africa Volunteers and their communities.
At each event, Volunteers and their community counterparts present their projects to a panel of business and NGO experts. They respond to questions and explain how their projects were identified and will be implemented. Following these presentations, the audience is invited to contribute funds and sponsor projects directly.
Inspired by the spirit of transparent, impact-driven pitching popularized by shows like Shark Tank, Pitch Day nurtures a culture of philanthropy grounded in African leadership and collaboration. The event showcases the diverse, meaningful work Volunteers undertake and invites supporters to be active partners in driving sustainable change.
