Chief Development Officer

Gregory Beck, CorpsAfrica’s Chief Development Officer, brings over 20 years of experience driving growth and impact in international development and humanitarian response. Most recently, Gregory served as Senior Principal at Miyamoto International and Director of the Crisis Response Department at FHI 360 where he pioneered the organization’s first global humanitarian strategy. He successfully built and led a 300-person crisis response department, delivering high-quality integrated humanitarian programming in Africa, the Middle East, and the U.S. Previously, Gregory also held leadership roles with USAID and the International Rescue Committee. As USAID’s Deputy Assistant Administrator for Asia, he spearheaded the reopening of the Myanmar Mission and coordinated a $170 million development assistance package. At FHI360, Gregory pioneered the organization’s first humanitarian strategy, generating $50 million in new revenue. Throughout his career, Gregory has been recognized for his strategic vision and ability to build high-performing teams focused on excellence. He is a skilled relationship builder and communicator, engaging stakeholders from Congress and foundations to local communities. Gregory’s diverse experiences make him well-equipped to lead CorpsAfrica’s fundraising and growth efforts. His passion for empowering young people aligns with CorpsAfrica’s mission of developing young leaders to serve their communities. Gregory served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Nepal.
